Dr. Stephen Priftakis, D.M.D
Dr. Priftakis is a native of Saugus, Mass., and holds a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., and a doctor of dental medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
He came to Tucson in 2002 to complete a one year general practice residency at the then-named Kino Hospital.
Dr. Priftakis began his career in Bakersfield, CA., working at a community health center until moving back to Tucson where he began working at Pima County Adult Detention facility until purchasing Hossfeld’s dental practice in July of 2013.

Judy Gibson, R.D.H.
Judy, a member of the Dental Hygiene Association, graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Pima Community College in 2003. She has been working with Dr. Stephen Priftakis since he took over the practice in 2013. Judy loves sharing and educating patients on proper care and technigues to keep them smiling and excited about their oral hygiene.
